Florida Community Development Corporation (CFCDC) is a non-profit
501 (c) (3) community based organization founded and incorporated
in 1982.
CFCDC’s
mission is to provide affordable housing opportunities,
stimulate investment in stagnant or declining communities,
and improve the quality of life for low to moderate income
persons.
We believe that our mission is best achieved by partnering
with community stakeholders which includes neighborhood
residents, public services providers, local, state and federal
government and local businesses.
Our
goals are:
- To
encourage business development
- To
create and retain jobs
- To
improve the quality of neighborhood housing
- To
increase opportunities for home ownership
- To
stimulate financial investment
CFCDC
attains these goals through two departments, Economic
and Housing Services. We strongly encourage
residents and other stakeholders such as banks, contractors,business
persons, educators, and other professionals who have talents
that can be used to attain the specified goals to become
members of CFCDC. If
you are a resident of one of the communities being served
by CFCDC, we especially welcome and encourage input. Membership
